Listen to this presentation from Abd al-Qadir on Inaguration Day, introducing some ways we can ‘Ride the Waves’ of our times:
It is in the divine wisdom that the world lives and evolves through dynamic contrasts.
We learn through both prophets and physicists that the universe manifests through breaking the perfect unity and symmetry of the timeless world or world of God. The tensions from seemingly irreconcilable polarities are what motivate us to search more deeply to understand ourselves, our relationship to the world and all that is, and what is required of us to become, individually and collectively, who we are capable of being.
So we are blessed to live in “interesting times,” beyond the sublime order of angelic existence, and to seek the gifts that are hidden in the apparent uncertainty and chaos that periodically threaten to overwhelm us. This year’s federal election has blown away some comforting assumptions about where we stand, so this webinar series is a timely response to help us make sense of the challenges we face as a nation, an ummah, a community or family, and as all of humanity.
It is an 11-session webinar series for professionals – healers, peace makers, social workers, teachers, parents, organizers, activists and others – who feel called to help their clients, communities, students or families by developing their understanding, inner foundation and applied skills for reconciling divided communities and creating a sustainable peace that supports and expands the lives of all.
