“The world is sweet and verdant, and verily Allah has made you stewards in it,
and He sees how you acquit yourselves.” [Hadith Muslim]

Do you delight in a beautiful sunset, the sweet song of a bird, the fragrance of a spring blossom?

Do climate change and its destructive impact on the earth and its creatures make you sad, angry or overwhelmed?

Come step into an earth-centered worldview with human beings as true servants of the creation, rather than masters over it. Discover the special and holy connection that we have with the created world. Learn about the unity and balance of divine laws here on earth. Explore the opportunity and lessons in climate change. Open to empowerment, hope and inspiration — and to your own holiness. Allah is Most Generous.

This highly experiential course will draw on Qu’ran, hadith, the writings of Sidi Muhammad al-Jamal, The Islamic Declaration on Global Climate Change, and Climate Reality Project resources, among many others.
