UOS is a 4-year University that teaches people about healing and spiritual development. All our teachings are based on Sufism, guiding people towards Oneness and Union with the Divine through teachings of love.

The students at UOS range from 12-13 year olds and some 90 years of age from all walks of life. The program typically draws:
Healers: These are people who want to make a very deep inward change. They want to stop suffering, and to heal themselves and others from physical, emotional and psychological issues. Many of our students come from a wide rage of healing backgrounds: Medical Doctors, nurses, acupuncturists, therapists, Psychologists and nutritionists. They bring sciences that range from Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine and Yoga.
Seekers: These are the student who are looking for Unity and Oneness with the Divine, through deeper states of love and consciousness.
Those inspired to Serve: These are the people who want to be in service to others, as healers or seekers to bring the teachings of Truth and healing out to the world.
Though these groups are seemingly different, there is one characteristic that binds everyone together; the intention for truly stepping into the highest potential for their work, relationships, health and spiritual development.
Based on the teachings of Unity the program requires integration with the rest of one’s life. Your work is the purification, is the nearness, is the love, is the practice, is the prayer, and is the service. It is all ONE. This means that on-site sessions meet three times a year for a week and are complemented by many virtual components that enable participants to carry on with other aspects of their lives.
Though a spiritual path, the teachings are not reclusive and are best supported by a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle in every aspect. This enables the process of walking as we purify the issues that come to us as veils, challenges and triggers on an everyday basis. The purification process lies at the heart of the Working University Model. We seek to make change happen, by overcoming the illnesses of the heart and misconceptions within us, until we become, as Gandhi put it, the change that we want to see in the world.
The Sufi Master Rumi Says, “But don’t be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth, so everyone will understand the passage, We have opened you.”
