Healing Through Sound
A Course in Five Modules with Yuval Ron
Learn to rejuvenate, achieve inner peace, and foster deep connections through five sound healing courses
The human body has its own music, and its own rhythms. We live by the heartbeat, and by the breath. We follow the circadian rhythm—the movement of sleeping and waking. Even our cells have rhythm—the elegant dance of our physiology.
Sound and music have a profound effect on the rhythms and movements of the human body. Vibrations from musical instruments, singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and promote deep relaxation. Sound can even activate the parasympathetic nervous system, moving us from a state of agitation to a state of peace and healing.
The University of Sufism is very excited to offer Healing Through Sound—a new, unique course in five modules taught by award-winning sound therapist and master musician Yuval Ron.
Yuval has more than 30 years of experience in musical composition, neuroscientific research, and healing with sound and music. It is this incredibly deep well of knowledge that informs the Healing Through Sound curriculum.
If you’re a lover of sound and music,
If you’re looking for healing for mind, body, and spirit,
If you’re interested in the use of sacred sound in religious and spiritual traditions,
Or if you’re called to use sound to heal others…
