Spiritual Leadership in the Sufi Way

Course Descriptions for Spiritual Leadership in the Sufi Way

A Sufi Foundation for Personal Vitality & Freedom

In the Sufi way, personal vitality and freedom are gained through a discipline of prayers and practices. This course is the foundation for the student’s need to strengthen their body, mind and spirit through those practices to ensure they are strong enough to carry Allah’s light to working people who are experiencing burn-out, apathy, stress-related illnesses, etc.

The Path of Attraction

This course develops the student’s heart to clarify their unique God-given talents in a way that attracts others who are committed to an experience of work based on guidance, joy, and service. Heart based communication skills that inspire people to let go of their unfulfilling business practices are the cornerstone of spiritual leaders. Integral to this course will be the study of how the prophets attracted beloveds magnetically as opposed to through fear, promotion, and coercion.

Transforming the Hearts of Business Leaders: A Sufi Perspective

This course will provide the language and skills to transfer the Sufi healing approach into a coaching model that will be attractive to people in business. Students will create their own model and become confident in their ability to introduce it to individuals and groups regardless of their openness to spirituality. We will also learn the Sufi’s perspective on walking leaders into a deeper connection and reliance on God, as well as use these successes with individuals to expand the opportunity to reinvent organizations in alignment with spiritual principles.

Community Building as a Means of Reaching Unity in Allah

In the days of the prophet, life was very effectively lived in community. This course will survey the lives of the prophets as leaders of their communities and build on these skills to learn how to build a community from one or a few people, guide a group of individuals into the experience of unity, and maintain the spirit of unity within an existing community.

Transforming Society through Divine Wisdom

Students will learn to engage an organization in large scale change initiatives that move their spiritual dynamics from an experience of depletion to an experience of service. Students will learn to formally or subtly align an organization with the will of God as a means of enriching the planet with real value.

Money and Success in the Sufi Way

Students will heal their issues around money and fear of success to allow them to live and work in the flow of Allah’s abundance through applying the Sufi practices learned from the prophetic teachings.

The Limits of Self Reliance

Students will read The Book of Illumination by Ibn Ata Allah Al-Iskandari and translated by Scott Kugle. Each student will do a 45-minute teaching that demonstrates their ability to transmit the opportunity of becoming dependent on Allah.

Leadership Lessons from the Prophets

Students will research the lives of the prophets and provide practical lessons that relate to our present day dilemmas and need for transforming leadership in our current world.

Light Over Darkness

Students will learn to hold their alignment to Allah’s truth in the face of attacks and criticism. They will also expand their transmission of light and virtue into a world suffering from the lack of it.

Individual and Group Mentoring
