Sustainer’s Fund Scholarship Information

Sustainer’s Scholarship Application

The Sustainer’s Fund offers scholarships to people who have demonstrated a commitment to create a better world in any of the following three areas:

Sustainable, spiritually guided farming: Relevant fields include but are not limited to organic and bio-dynamic food production, maintenance of seed diversity, farmers’ markets, and efforts to reduce carbon footprint of produce brought to market; support of indigenous food production; water & soil conservation.

Conflict resolution & peacemaking: Relevant fields include but are not limited to establishing mediation centers, family healing, divorce mediation, corporate arbitration, victim/offender reconciliation, conflict resolution between community groups, tribes, ethnic groups or nationalities in conflict.

Activists seeking to transform institutions: Relevant fields include but are not limited to community organizing, economic sustainability initiatives, renewable energy advocacy, immigration reform, workers’ rights, religious/ethnic/racial tolerance, prison reform, campaign finance reform, advocacy for political prisoners.

Anyone with a sincere interest in any of these areas can apply. Preference likely will be given to applicants who have already demonstrated their commitment to serve as revealed through their past or current choices of education, training, employment and service work.
