Sidi will be laid to rest in Jerusalem today

Nov 28, 2015 | Sufism

We heard from Salih Kent that the travels to Jerusalem went smoothly, and Sidi will be buried today in Jerusalem just after the traditional Friday mid-day prayer.

‘Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raaji’uun

Surely we belong to Him, and to Him we shall return. [Q 2:156]

May you rest in peace, beloved Sidi.

I want to share a message we received from one of Sidi’s close students and friend of his family in Jerusalem:

Last week we invited you to join Amany for a free teleclass to discuss Questions Most Asked of the Guide.

Amany spoke to us about how to connect with Sidi, now that he is no longer physically with us. It was a fabulous call, very giving and nourishing to our hearts.

If you missed the call, you can still register and receive a link to the replay, as well as all recordings for the Journey Home teleclass series.

Please note: These recordings will be available through midnight on Monday, Nov 23rd. They are yours for free until that time. If you think you might want them, go ahead and download them now, and you can listen to them at your leisure. These are our gift to you.

In the spirit of Giving and Gratitude that is upon us here in the US, we have another offer for you–scroll down to see it.

We are holding your heart in love and support.

Blessings and Gratitude,

Mastura Graugnard, on behalf of your friends and family at UOS

P.S. If you’re new to us, thank you for baring with us during this time. This will most likely be the last announcement about Sidi’s arrangements. We hope to be back to normal next week.
